River Music
since 1975
where good hearts and souls
find confluence on their journey to Artistic Expression
and Musical Freedom
If you browse our pages, you may notice that our choice of artists is somewhat eclectic. Tom Waite we feel represents "North Country" music - a separate category of Country music. Booker used to host a radio show called "Booker's Saturday Afternoon Street Jazz" - so "Street" is his school of jazz? Albert Svor plays a fine fiddle with or without accordian acccompaniment. Bill Thompson ranges from ballads to Irish to folk. And, of course, Tom Spaeth is "Cat Head" singing the Blues.
What they all have in common is a love of music and freedom to express it. And River Music is pleased to provide one more venue for their talents.

Thanks to Jim Maloney for a wonderful video that captures the mood and tone of River Music: One Little River.
And thanks to Booker for something completely different: Sway the Nation.
