The Petersons:
Ruth, Doug, and Louise
Full Circle
-
The Petersons
Ruth Peterson, her sister Carolyn and brother Doug grew up in Crosby, Minnesota, and sang for the Assembly of God Church there as youngsters. Their reputation grew locally, and eventually landed them a performance on TV broadcast live from Minneapolis. The Petersons now include Doug's wife, Louise, and they continue to perform at church services and other occasions in the Crosby area.
The album Full Circle was recorded live at River Music in 1983 and released the same year. It has been digitally remastered for this CD. This was the first album to be recorded by the Petersons. A truly inspirational collection of traditional gospel favorites, the album is a treasure piece in the collections of all those who own it. You can easily feel the presence of the well-trained voices and close harmonics as if the group were singing in your living room. See for yourself. Listen to the a capella "Solid Rock." On other songs, Doug plays the guitar accompaniment and Louise the dulcimer.
Visit the Petersons at Soundclick but meanwhile enjoy "Solid Rock".
